Laura is the director of Shine Time: Musical Theatre and Acting and opened the school in 2006 after she graduated from the prestigious Guildford School of Acting where she won a Dance and Drama award for a place on their Musical Theatre degree course.
Since leaving drama school Laura has recorded several voice-overs for Say It Productions and Bfluent. She then went on to perform in the International tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast where she played the sugar bowl for two years and then in her final year landed the role of Madame de la Grande Bouche.!

Laura has been teaching acting and musical theatre for 15 years and upon graduating from drama school she decided to open Shine Time; a school specialising in training children from the age of 5 – 18 years in Acting, Singing, Dance and Musical Theatre.

Chloe Brooks
Workshop leader

Chloë grew up in Weymouth, Dorset before moving to Guildford aged 18 to study
Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting. Having gained her degree, Chloë
moved to London in 2006 to pursue a career in Theatre. From 2004 until 2008 Chloë
was a permanent member of staff at the GSA Saturday School, teaching Jazz, Tap,
Ballet and Musical Theatre to ages 6 to 60! In 2008 Chloë was lucky enough to land
her first West End role, playing Miss Lynch and understudying Jan in ‘Grease’ at the
Piccadilly Theatre. A year later she went on to feature in the ensemble of ‘Les
Misérables’ at the Queens Theatre, West End. Chloë stayed in ‘Les Mis’ for two years,
being fortunate enough to perform at the 25th Anniversary celebrations at the O2
Arena as well as the Olivier Awards. Chloë assisted Laura Green during the summer
of 2011, choreographing Shine Time’s brilliant workshop of ‘Shrek’. After that, Chloë
spent seven wonderful months playing Kate/Chutney in ‘Legally Blonde’ at the Savoy
Theatre, West End. She then put on the biggest production yet – her wedding!! At the
start of 2013 Chloë went on an international arena tour with ‘We Will Rock You’,
playing Teacher and understudying Killer Queen. Since returning Chloë has moved
back to Guildford with her husband and is thrilled to be teaching with Shine Time
once again. The way the students at Shine Time progress and improve week by week
is astounding. They are always prepared, brave and kind to one another. They are a
credit to themselves, their parents and the teachers who are lucky enough to teach
